The Red Sucker Lake Nursing Station is a new 14,500 square foot outpatient facility, equipped with the latest technology and equipment required to meet the health and wellness of the residents and visitors of Red Sucker Lake. The facility contains multiple departments, including Emergency, Dental, Home and Community Care, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Programs and multi-purpose spaces. The building is also equipped with its own back-up diesel generator, eliminating the possibility of a power failure shutting down this integral facility. Red Sucker Lake First Nation is a remote community located in Northern Manitoba, only accessible via winter ice road and air.
