The Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug New School Project involves the design and construction of a new 52,000 square foot educational facility. The school features Home Economics, Construction Technology, and a Science classroom. Students will also have access to a new hockey rink, a multi-purpose field and a baseball diamond. The facility will have a positive impact on the community, allowing students to remain in their community from Kindergarten through to Grade 12. Big Trout Lake is a remote community located in Northwestern Ontario and is only accessibly by winter ice road or air.
