The Bloodvein Water Treatment Plant and New Lagoon involved the construction of a new addition as well as a renovation to an existing water treatment plant. The treatment system consisted of a membrane filtration system that utilizes ultrafiltration and nano-filtration. In addition to the water treatment plant, upgrades were completed to the raw water intake wet well, community lift station, existing underground utilities, and existing Lagoon. The project also includes the construction of two new SAGR (Submerged Attached Growth Reactor) cells and a new blower building to facilitate the SAGR process.
