The Advanced Manufacturing Program Building is a 67,600 square foot, two-storey research facility that focuses on two main areas of activity: advanced digital manufacturing and sustainable food packaging. The building itself is comprised of three distinct spaces: labs, office spaces and maintenance areas. The level of finish changes considerably across the three spaces.

The facility is being constructed in accordance with the Green Globes requirements and incorporates unique construction materials sourced from overseas. In the office space, the stair treads that leads to the second floor were shipped as slabs from a quarry in France, and the walls are clad in acoustic wood panels that were manufactured in Switzerland. Other high-level finishes and unique equipment throughout the project make the Advanced Manufacturing Program Building truly a state-of-the-art facility.
