Penn-co Construction is a leading construction company currently hiring a Yard Attendant to join our team working at our yard located in Blumenort, MB. As the Yard Attendant, you will work with the team organizing material and freight going to various construction sites. Penn-co offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary. Responsibilities

  • Experience loading and offloading trucks
  • Able to strap loads
  • Accept deliveries, detail oriented and proficient
  • Maintain accurate inventory and an organized work area
  • Operate and basic maintenance of all equipment, materials, and tools safely and responsibly.
  • Doing clean up around the yard
  • Mowing the grass
  • Packaging and moving freight
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated and punctual
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work alone and complete tasks that have been assigned
  • Construction experience is an asset
  • Outdoor conditions that may include heat, dust, cold, rain, and noise
  • Physically strenuous work throughout the year
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm with overtime when required.
