Contract Type: Stipulated Sum
Completion Date: May 2017

The Mennonite Heritage Village is located on 17 hectares of land off Provincial Trunk Hwy 12 in Steinbach, MB. The museum is a recognized leader in preserving and interpreting the Mennonite faith and cultural heritage and welcomes approximately 40,000 visitors annually from around the world. The new 5300 square foot event centre was built to provide the museum with a much-improved facility to use for its education program, festival entertainment, restaurant overflow, banquets, picnics, and special community events. Some of the main features of the new building include exposed glulam beams with a wood ceiling, a polished concrete floor, performing stage and six overhead doors, which allow lots of natural light into the building. The overhead doors also give the museum the option to store large vintage machines through the winter months.
