Penn-co Construction is a leading construction company currently hiring a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our team working at our Steinbach office. The Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation and administration of training programs across Penn-co. Responsibilities
- Coordinate training sessions for field and office employees including scheduling, material preparation, facility and travel booking, and attendance tracking.
- Maintain accurate training records for completed and expiring courses.
- Complete training audits and generate reports as needed.
- Support onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company.
- Help develop training materials, manuals, and e-learning content.
- Assist in organizing leadership development programs and employee engagement initiatives.
- Work with employees and supervisors to facilitate career development planning and skill building initiatives.
- Support additional learning and development projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, HR, Communication, or another related field.
- 1-3 years experience in training, HR, or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products.
- Experience with learning management systems is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with employees at all levels.
- Understanding of the construction industry, or workforce training needs, is an asset.
- Comfortable traveling occasionally to projects via plane with overnight stays.
