The Northlands Parkway Collegiate will be a 112,400 square feet building designed to accommodate 800 students from Winkler and the surrounding areas. The new school is targeted for LEED gold certification with geothermal heating and cooling. The building will be constructed on cast-in-place concrete foundation piles and framed with structural steel, masonry walls, and hollowcore floors. The school will feature choral and band, culinary arts and cosmetology, as well as environmental and science departments. The school will also feature a commons area with clerestory windows.
